Western Kentucky University

Western Kentucky University is a public institution in located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The school enrolls around 17,000 undergraduate students, and the campus sits on just over 200 acres. Founded in 1906, the university enjoys a rich Southern history while maintaining a smaller population than other nearby universities. WKU is known for its programs in Education, Business and Biology. 

Arabic Major

The Department of Modern Languages at Western Kentucky University offers students courses in Arabic Media, Civilization, Literature, Culture, and Business in addition to its Internship in Arabic program. Arabic is a fast-growing language and Western Kentucky University has the first Arabic program in the state of Kentucky. Western Kentucky University also offers colloquial Arabic courses.
