Summer Institute for Languages of the Muslim World
The Summer Institute for Languages of the Muslim World (SILMW) hosts highschool students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for a two week intensive program studying Arabic every June. High school students enrolled in this program will earn 2 hours of college credit and gain foundational skills in the Arabic language. Students will get the opportunity to take part in cultural activites in addition to receiving 4 hours of daily classroom instruction. The programs offers financial aid and scholarships to help fund the cost of the program.
