Ibn Battuta Scholarship for Peace and Diplomacy
The Ibn Battuta Arabic Scholarships aim to reward students for excellence and dedication to the study of the Arabic language, as well as to promote the study of Arabic as a foreign language. Prospective students may apply to either one of the semester programs in the fall or spring or else to one of the winter and summer programs offered at the Qalam wa Lawh center in Rabat, Morocco. The fall and spring semester programs are 14 weeks long, and the summer and winter programs are 4 weeks long. Applicants do not have to be university students, but it is required to have at least 240 documented hours of Arabic language study prior to submitting an application. 5 full scholarships and 10 partial scholarships are offered for each session.
